Ride Laketran's Sports Express

Skip the driving and pricey game-day parking fees and ride downtown in comfort to and from the football games.

Join us for the 2025 season by taking Sport Express to all Cleveland Browns home games!

New Sports Express Service

Sports Express offers affordable round-trip transportation from Mentor Park-n-Ride to Cleveland for each home football game. Sport Express service is operated by Laketran STS buses and can accommodate 134 passengers for each game.

Tickets are $25 for a round-trip fare.

Buses depart Mentor Park-n-Ride 2 hours prior to the game start and return 45 minutes after the game ends.

Drop off and pick up in Cleveland is at the northwest corner of St. Clair Ave. & E.  9th St. (Bus Stop #932)

Purchasing Terms

  • All ticket sales are final.
  • Bus seating is all general admission.
  • Wristbands are provided at boarding and serve as your return ticket.
  • Buses depart Mentor Park-n-Ride 2 hours prior to game start.
  • Buses depart Cleveland 45 minutes after the game ends. 
  • Buses drop off and pick up in Cleveland at the northwest corner of St. Clair Ave. & E. 9th St. (Bus Stop #932).
  • No food, drink, alcohol, or smoking is permitted on-board buses.

What if there is a game delay or overtime?

Laketran departs 45 minutes after the end of the game. We encourage you to subscribe to GAMEDAY text alerts. Text “GAMEDAY” to 440-517-8100 to get Sports Express text alerts. Data and messaging rates apply.

Laketran Sports Express departs Lake County from Mentor Park-n-Ride at 8650 Market St. 2 hours prior to the start of the game.

Returning to Lake County, Laketran buses depart the northwest corner of St. Clair Ave. & E.9th St. 45 minutes after the game ends. (Bus Stop #932)

You will be dropped off and picked up at the same location in Cleveland.

All ticket sales are final. Laketran does not issue refunds. Tickets are transferable to other people.

Laketran STS does not provide discounted fares or group sales. The price per ticket is $25.

Wristbands serve as your return ticket. If you lose your wristband, you can verify your ticket purchase with your driver by showing your confirmation email.

You can take Laketran Sports Express one way, but you still must purchase a $25 round-trip ticket.

Laketran buses are not equipped with restrooms. There is a portable restroom at the Mentor Park-n-Ride only.

Laketran STS does not offer a season ticket pass this year, but it is something we may consider for future years.
